The Center
for Excellence in Education (CEE)
The Center for
Excellence in Education (CEE) was established within the framework of the
Jubilee
school in 1992. The major tasks were the selection of students, training
of teachers and developing the study plan. Over the years, The CEE grew out of
the wide range of activities and professional services assumed by the
Department of research testing and development. A generous grant for a three-
year project (1998- 2001) from the OPEC Fund for International Development
provided a challenging opportunity to expand the scope of work and reach in
Jordan and the Arab Region.
In November 2000,
the Jubilee Institute with two wings, the Jubilee School and the CEE, was
established. Since then the CEE has been working as an independent not – profit,
non- government institutions dedicated to the promotion of education excellence
and gifted education.
